Hello, my name is Vivian Zottola and I am an author and Human-Dog Relationship Therapist. Nisa Semione, MS, CDBC, is a certified trainer and dog behavior consultant, and the founder of Naturally Canine Behavior & Training. Animals have been a constant presence in her life, but her professional journey began in 2014 when she started fostering for her local shelter and rescues. In 2015, she joined her local animal shelter staff, where she became deeply enthralled with canine behavior and development. Nisa studied animal behavior topics at the University of Texas at Austin while earning her BA in Anthropology. In 2018 she began her career as a professional dog trainer and dog behavior consultant in her home state of New York. She served clientele in Manhattan and the greater New York metro area and developed a strong skill set for problem solving behavior solutions in challenging environments. She went on to found Naturally Canine Behavior & Training in 2021 after relocating to Houston, Texas.  In 2024, Nisa earned her Master of Science degree in Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare from Virginia Tech. Kim is an experienced canine behavior consultant and trainer having worked with dogs, shelters, rescues and dog guardians since 2001. She was one of the members of the Center for Shelter Dogs, at the Animal Rescue League in Boston and was a Behavior Counselor at Save Dog in Sudbury. She currently teaches public dog training classes, performs behavior evaluations, and conducts behavioral and training consultations for shelters, rescues, animal control officers, non profits, educational institutions and dog guardians. She also writes, teaches and consults for non profits and educational institutions. Paws On You was an idea created one night with a notebook. One of the last activities I shared with Daisy were our “puppy walk” events with a Veteran Service Organization, and I wanted to continue to work with dogs and with the community. The idea of going back to school and being a trainer was born. I had trained Daisy and she was very well behaved; She never bit anyone and she was the sweetest dog you would meet. So it was time to take my training skills to a more official level. I sat and mapped out what I would want to do at first and then expand. So a year has gone by of being open and obtaining my training degree with ABC and I couldn’t be happier to do something that I love. I specialize in child and dog relations and expecting while having a dog in the home as well as many other behaviors like retraining and potty training.

My name is Courtney Connors, I am 24 years old, and I have a one year old Dachshund mix named Maple! Dog training has always been my passion. As a child, I would ask my mother to purchase me breed cards so I could memorize the specifications of each dog breed on the planet! I have a large collection of breed cards to this day!
