I'm a Certified Veterinary Technician, with Fear Free (Veterinary) credentials. In addition to being a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner, I have my PCT-A from the Pet Professionals Accreditation Board® (PPAB®) and my CPDT-KA through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers® (CCPDT®). As an Emergency Nurse/Technician, I bring my love of behavior into the open treatment area to help pets and their owners feel more comfortable. I strive to make the experience as pleasant as it can be while also maintaining professional care and technical skills and respecting the body language of my patient. I also train veterinary procedures and body handling/husbandry care, in an effort to reduce the anxiety many dogs and other species suffer whenever they require medical care and have done behavioral evaluations as related to generalized and separation anxiety, resource guarding, and other behaviors that endanger the human-animal bond. As a trainer, I primarily focus on working with reactive dogs or those with behavior concerns in private sessions. I love to incorporate aspects of dog-sports (nosework and parkour in particular) into my training for confidence building with otherwise insecure dogs.

I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and feel incredibly fortunate to have learned from numerous furry companions throughout my life. My journey with dogs took a pivotal turn after adopting a very anxious pup. This challenge led me to dive into the world of dog behavior. Working with Molly not only opened my eyes to the complexities of canine behavior but also showed me the profound positive changes that can come from dedicated training and understanding. This experience ignited a passion within me to help others navigate similar challenges—after all, I’ve been there! My commitment to dog well-being extends far beyond my own pets and private training sessions. I also volunteer at the Quincy Animal Shelter, where we strive to enhance the lives of the dogs in our care. At the shelter, we focus on providing enrichment and foundational skills training that many of the dogs in our care lack. Witnessing the transformative effects of training on the shelter dogs has solidified my calling to become a dog trainer. It's incredibly fulfilling to see them grow, learn, and gain confidence. I believe that every dog deserves a chance to be their best self, and I’m passionate about helping both dogs and their humans create strong, positive bonds. Whether it’s through training, volunteering, or simply sharing knowledge, I’m dedicated to making a difference in the lives of dogs and their owners.

Hello, my name is Vivian Zottola and I am an author and Human-Dog Relationship Therapist. Over the past two decades, I have helped hundreds of people and their dogs develop stronger feelings of safety, satisfaction and joy in their relationship. Clients hire me to provide realistic solutions for various challenges, ranging from home management for a new puppy to evaluating baseline behaviors of a new rescue dog to providing behavior change intervention strategies so to help reduce the risk of a bite to a child, family member, or stranger. In circumstances when dogs are known to experience trauma (cPTSD - fear, anxiety, or stress) I collaborate with veterinary professionals in my community to help improve a dog's learning potential. Behavior change is a collaborative effort and I work closely with the guardians (dog owners) to support long term success. In addition to working with clients I contribute to public awareness on humane dog training and improved animal welfare by writing books, a newsletter and research work for the Center for Canine Behavior Studies (www.BeBiteSmart.org) For more information about my Books and work please see www.VivianZottola.com and contact me at vivian@bostonk9concierge.com

Paws On You was an idea created one night with a notebook. One of the last activities I shared with Daisy were our “puppy walk” events with a Veteran Service Organization, and I wanted to continue to work with dogs and with the community. The idea of going back to school and being a trainer was born. I had trained Daisy and she was very well behaved; She never bit anyone and she was the sweetest dog you would meet. So it was time to take my training skills to a more official level. I sat and mapped out what I would want to do at first and then expand. So a year has gone by of being open and obtaining my training degree with ABC and I couldn’t be happier to do something that I love. I specialize in child and dog relations and expecting while having a dog in the home as well as many other behaviors like retraining and potty training.

My name is Courtney Connors, I am 24 years old, and I have a one year old Dachshund mix named Maple! Dog training has always been my passion. As a child, I would ask my mother to purchase me breed cards so I could memorize the specifications of each dog breed on the planet! I have a large collection of breed cards to this day! I was always so interested in dogs, and dog training, and I’m happy to have graduated Animal Behavior College. My goal in life is to help people understand dog behavior, and the way dogs’ brains work!
