Hello, my name is Vivian Zottola and I am an author and Human-Dog Relationship Therapist. Over the past two decades, I have helped hundreds of people and their dogs develop stronger feelings of safety, satisfaction and joy in their relationship. Clients hire me to provide realistic solutions for various challenges, ranging from home management for a new puppy to evaluating baseline behaviors of a new rescue dog to providing behavior change intervention strategies so to help reduce the risk of a bite to a child, family member, or stranger. In circumstances when dogs are known to experience trauma (cPTSD - fear, anxiety, or stress) I collaborate with veterinary professionals in my community to help improve a dog's learning potential. Behavior change is a collaborative effort and I work closely with the guardians (dog owners) to support long term success. Jena Pantano is a balanced, positive-focused dog trainer in Boston, MA and the founder of Paisley Dog Gear & Training. She partners with owners to help them raise confident, reliable dogs through clear structure, curiosity, and personalized communication. Jena’s approach is to adapt methods to each dog and owner—no one-size-fits-all. Her work spans foundation skills (leash manners, impulse control, basic obedience) through more advanced challenges like trick work or behavior refinement, always with an eye toward real-world readiness. With experience in behavior shaping, service-dog foundations, and freestyle training, Jena combines science-based techniques with thoughtful, hands-on application for lasting change. She is actively pursuing CPDT-KA and KPA CTP certifications and works with dogs of all breeds and temperaments across the greater Boston area.
