Sam Short is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) and Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP) with over a decade of experience. Through his private practice, Dogs by Sam, he specializes in complex behavioral challenges—including aggression, reactivity, and fear-based behaviors—in the Greater Columbus and Pataskala area. Sam combines science-based, LIMA-compliant methods with a compassionate approach to help families navigate difficult diagnoses. In addition to his primary credentials, he is a Fear Free Certified Professional and a student of Dr. Susan Friedman’s Living and Learning with Animals (LLA) course. His goal is to provide safety, relief, and practical solutions for families living with high-needs dogs.
