With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and hands-on experience in an animal behavior laboratory studying the song learning and vocalization of zebra finches, Jenn brings a scientific foundation to her work as a professional dog trainer. She began her career in environmental education, working with Hudson River Park Trust to develop educational programs, and with NYC Urban Park Rangers to study and protect the endangered piping plover. Her journey into dog training began in 2013 with her own dog-walking business, where she developed a passion for helping fear-reactive dogs. By 2017, she was training professionally, adopting the LIMA guidelines to foster positive communication between clients and their dogs. Specializing in practical training tailored for city environments, Jenn excels at setting realistic expectations for both her clients and their canine companions, creating harmonious relationships through science-backed training techniques. Jenn currently offers dog training through her company Flipz Pet Care, in Brooklyn and Manhattan, New York.
