Providing private and group sessions for dog and puppy manners (obedience) and dogs with reactivity and other behavioral issues. I am both CCPDT and Animal Behavior College certified. I have a Master’s in Education which helps me to design a program that is most effective for you and your dog. I am currently working in the Behavior Department at the Erie County SPCA. I do assessments, behavior modification with shy, fearful and/or aggressive dogs. Previously, I spent 7 years as a Dog Enrichment volunteer under the Behavior Dept. at the SPCA. I am at a Level 3, which is the highest level. I use only scientifically-based methods that have been tested to be efficient and humane. One of the cornerstones to how I train is developing your dog’s ability to focus on you when needed. Whether it’s teaching obedience, agility or getting your dog to move away from potentially harmful situations, focusing is the key element in having success in these areas.
