Gina is the owner of Lakota's Legacy and an IAABC- CDBC, ADT; Trauma Informed Pet Professional & L.E.G.S. Certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM). She offers both life skills training as well as behavior modification for deeper behavioral issues. Gina specializes in helping dogs with issues such as trauma, over excitement, anxiety, and aggression. She offers a variety of services, including education, management strategies, skills training, and behavior modification, all delivered with a science-based, holistic approach, both online and local private in-home sessions availability. Gina has a modern dog training approach and is also a concept trainer, helping the dog to learn how to use their brain to make different choices and learn different life skills. She believes that education is a huge piece that is missing from guardianship and helps the client understand their dog better, which in turn improves the communication and relationship. Gina offers both private in home (local) and/or online virtual sessions. She has completed the Aggressive Dog Master course & has participated in hundreds of hours of educational webinars and continues to learn in order to bring the best to her clients. Gina has owned German Shepherds for over 25 years and currently lives with her sweet and comical Husky.
