I am a certified professional dog trainer, certified canine behavior consultant, and Family Dog Mediator. I strive to help people and their dogs build a strong relationships based on trust and clear communication through force-free dog training methods. My specialties include dog aggression and anxiety. With over 15 years experience, I have had the opportunity to work with thousands of dogs on a wide variety of behavioral challenges. I believe that preventive and proactive training is key to helping dogs live a happy, well-adjusted life with their family. I am the dog behavior and training expert for Preventive Vet, a website dedicated to providing free education on pet health, safety, and training. I'm also the lead behavior consultant for Pupstanding Academy and teach group classes at Seattle Humane in Bellevue, Wa. I currently serve as secretary of the board for the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
