About

Angie has worked with dogs for over 15 years, first in sheltering then as a behavior consultant. She has a keen invested interest in their physical, mental and emotional well-being and takes great pains to stay current on all of the canine sciences. Angie has been the Director of Operations for a small rescue and a large shelter where she built behavior and community programming. She served on the board of the North Carolina Animal Federation and volunteered with the ASPCA in removing animals from hoarding and fighting situations. Angie is a Licensed Family Dog Mediator and serves as the head of the Shelter Division of Family Dog Mediators. She works with all types of clients and their dogs through the entire spectrum of behavioral issues that arise. She is Lead Consultant at the Dog Door Canine Services in Asheville, North Carolina.
