Training man’s best friend should be a positive experience, not a negative one. (No choke chains, only treats, and praise) I feel that dogs/cats should be able to stay in their surroundings while their owners are on vacation. Many animals feel extremely stressed when they enter a kennel and it may take days for them to adjust. Relieve your stress and your dogs, hire a dog sitter. You’ll be happy that you did!
