Pat is a certified dog behavior consultant through IAABC, and is a certified professional dog trainer through the Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA) and a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy - KPA-TP. Pat holds a Master's degree in Education from Rutgers University and prior to canine work, was in human education for 30 years. Pat has membership with APDT, PPG, and holds certifications in the Fear Free Program, Michael Shikashio’s Aggressive Dog Handling, Cooperative Paws Service Dog Coaching, Level 1 Tag Teaching, Family Paws , and Suzanne Clothier’s Treat/Retreat and RAT. Pat owns a 1800 sq. ft. facility in Morehead City, NC where she offers group and private lessons in addition to home private lessons and consultations.
