My name is Chelsea Plankey and I have been an avid dog lover since I can remember. I have fostered nearly 40 dogs ranging from puppies to seniors over the past several years and just opened my own business last year after my completion of ABC Dog Obedience Trainer Certification. I have also finished My Dog Camp course and now run my own dog camp weekly. I provide basic obedience trainings as well as boarding.

Inspired by my challenging dog, Ivy, I’ve recently started my business Ivy’s League Dog Camp and Training! Dog camp is my main focus where I take appropriate dogs out for a two hour off-leash hike. The dogs enjoy sniffing, playing, digging, and all the other things that being a dog entails. I sprinkle a little bit of obedience in throughout our hike as well. Clients say their dogs come home happy and enriched! A lifelong animal lover, I currently live with my two dogs, Ivy and Tulsi, three cats, four horses, a few ducks, and lots of chickens. ABC Certified Dog Trainer I believe in developing a personalized plan to build strong, loving relationships amongst all family members through the use of a balanced approach to training. In other words, the primary goals will be to educate people and dog, on what is appropriate and prevent unwanted behavior from happening, creating a harmonious balance. I graduated from ABC in 2007, and have only worked in the industry part time until my recent retirement from School bus driving. My goal is to be sure that each dog parent I work with is willing, able, and ready to provide a special home and enriched life for their dog. I don’t particularly care where the dog comes from, whether from a pet store, a breeder, or a rescue, no 2 dogs are exactly alike, and each learns in their own way. Basic manners, puppy proofing, family life integration, house breaking, and general fun.
