Audrey, The Dog Coach, is a certified (CPDT-KA) and Fear Free Certified dog trainer serving the greater Chattanooga and NW Georgia area. Audrey has loved animals her entire life. In 2004 she graduated from Arizona Canine Academy, a hands-on professional dog training program. One of the most rewarding parts of the program was working with local shelter dogs to make them more adoptable. In dog training school, Audrey’s instructor noted her individualized approach to each dog and guardian, this skill is even more honed today. She is committed to the use of positive coaching methods, and feels that even the most challenging dog behaviors can be overcome with diligence, creativity, and patience. Since 2004 Audrey has worked in the natural pet industry, as an educator, coach, and manager. She is also a graduate from the University of Colorado with her degree in anthropology and psychology, two disciplines she also uses in her quest to help people help their dogs.

I am the Training Director for Warrior Freedom Service Dogs where we train psychiatric service dogs for veterans with military-related PTSD and TBI's. We are located in North Georgia and serve veterans in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.We are a positive reinforcement, LIMA compliant and relationship-centered training program. Our goal is to help reconnect veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI's by partnering them with a psychiatric service dog.I do private consultations, assessments and training for the general public when available.

I have always had a passion for animals in-particularly dogs. The behaviors and train-ability of dogs fascinates me. I have 8 years of training experience. I have worked worked with all types of dogs and temperments. I especially enjoy working with rescue dogs. The last 2 yrs I’ve worked at the Humane Educational Society. This has helped me gain insight and experience with injuried,fearful, aggressive and/or stressed dogs. It has also helped me gain more compassion and patience then I ever imagined. My ultimate goal would be to work in Utah at Best Friends Animals Sanctuary. This place does such amazing work and I would love to be able to be a part of a place like that.

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), an advanced certified trainer with Animal Behavior College (ABCDT-L2), an ABC Mentor Trainer and a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. I am the Training Director for Warrior Freedom Service Dogs, a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides psychiatric PTSD service dogs for combat veterans. I do in-person, at-home trainings for behavioral issues with veterinary referral.

I started working with dogs at a doggy daycare when I was 18. While working with my dog to build his confidence, I found my calling and decided to further my education to become an ABC Certified Dog Trainer to help owners build a better relationship with their dogs.
