Welcome to the Dog House! We believe in giving you and your pet the best chance for a happy, healthy relationship through training and behavior modification. Training can be fun and also is one of the most important ways you can keep your dog safe and make him or her a good companion that is welcome many places. Bethany Disher is a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College and has worked, lived, trained and shown in the dog world for several years. Her first introduction to training came through horse training, which taught patience and also how to modify training approaches to fit different situations. She switched to dog training with the arrival of her Labrador Retriever, Onyx, with whom she has shown in Rally Obedience ever and has also worked through advanced obedience. She is currently looking to complete her first title in Rally-O. Her focus in training is on common training difficulties and behavior modification. Besides holding a certification, she has worked for a boarding center which has greatly improved her ability to read and understand dogs. She also completed an apprenticeship with a groomer while working there which has given her the knowledge to properly groom dogs. She continues to pursue further education and is looking into expanding her certifications, with goals set towards APDT and CCPDT, and getting certified in grooming
