Hello! My name is Evan Isenberg and I am a 22 year old dog trainer from Buffalo, NY who is now helping dogs and their owners in the Rochester area. Dog training became a passion of mine during the pandemic and I haven’t looked back. I received my certification as an Animal Behavior College Dog Trainer(ABCDT) in 2022 after completing their Dog Obedience Program. I have a Labrador Retriever of my own who is my best buddy and has been with me through this journey of becoming a trainer. My name is Nicole and I recently graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2014 with a certification in dog training. I also studied Cat Management and Training, Pet Nutrition and Diet, Pet Massage and Training Shelter Dogs. To pay the bills, I work full-time at an online printing company and have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from SUNY Oswego. To feed my passion, I volunteer my time with animals. I volunteered with a local animal rescue group for over 5 years. I was involved with everything from cleaning litter boxes at Petco to processing adoption applications to coordinating the dog team to being a board member. And I loved every minute of it. While I still support the animal rescue world, I had developed an interest in learning more about animal behaviors to help educate new and experienced pet owners.

Hello! My name is Kristine and I am the owner of True Companion Pet Care. I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College with a certification in Dog Training. I am extremely passionate about dogs, their care, and their well-being. Several years back, when I was a Dog Coordinator for a local rescue group in my area, I saw firsthand just how many dogs were relinquished by their owners to shelters and rescue groups due to behavior issues. Many of their behavior issues could have been corrected if they had a professional trainer to work with them. Sadly, hundreds never make it out of the shelters. Behavior issues are the main reason dogs end up in shelters. I realized that I had to do something to make a difference and reduce those numbers! That is what inspired me to become a dog obedience trainer. I began training shelter dogs to increase their chances for adoption and to live a happy, healthy life. I am a positive reinforcement trainer, certified, bonded, background checked and first aid/CPR certified for dogs. I do not use prong collars, shock collars or choke collars when I train, nor do I use any form of physical punishment whatsoever. As a Certified Dog Obedience Trainer, I offer private obedience training and behavior modification in your home. Private training sessions can be especially beneficial for dogs with anxiety issues; for dogs that are easily distracted in a room full of other dogs and people; for puppies who have not yet been fully vaccinated yet and cannot attend group training; for families who would like all members, including their children, present during training sessions; for families with scheduling conflicts (I can accommodate your schedule and come to you on weekdays, weeknights, and/or weekends). He is a graduate and Certified Trainer of Animal Behavior College, a nationally recognized training and certification program. He plans to continue his training and knowledge to train service dogs to work with individual with physical and intellectual disabilities. I offer the following services: Private in-home training: I will come to your home and work 1:1 with you and your dog. Group classes: Classes are currently forming at Tuxedo’s K9 in Irondequoit, and at Brighton Rec Center. Semi-private lessons: If you have a friend, neighbor or relative that is also interested, I can work with a small group in a mutually convenient location, a home/yard/garage, park or nearby facility. Sit & Train: I will provide training and care to your dog at your home while you are away, including walking, brushing up on obedience skills, feeding and companionship to prevent loneliness while you are away. Dog Massage: I will provide a relaxing/calming and rejuvenating massage to your dog, forming a bond and mental state that facilitates training and is a natural reward for their hard work. Day Training: I will come to your home or doggy daycare and personally train your dog for you and periodically meet with you to demonstrate your dog’s progress and how to utilize their new skills.

I am able to work with any dog. I can do puppy obedience, consultations, adult dog obedience,and behavior problems. I will come to your home and work with your dog on any level of training. I also will pet sit in your home or mine with lots of love and exercise.

I am a professional, Certified Dog Trainer who specializes in working with large breeds, however, size doesn’t matter. I am also certified in Pet First Aid & CPR and have taken several continuing education courses to stay abreast of current training techniques and areas of concern to owners.
