Better Buddy Dog Training, LLC George has been training dogs since he was a teenager but in 2017, after a twenty-year career with the NYPD, he began an intensive study of dog training principles and methods that inspired him to share his expertise with others. He believes that with patience and commitment, anyone can learn to train their dogs and solve most behavior problems. With a passion for helping dogs transition from animal shelters to loving homes, George focuses his efforts on building confidence in dogs while teaching owners how to effectively communicate with them. He is committed to helping people build trusting, healthy relationships with their dogs. George teaches proven dog training principles and techniques with an emphasis on the timing and consistency critical for success. He believes in using positive reinforcement and clear communication to teach good behaviors, followed by structure and predictability to maintain them. Originally from Syosset, New York, Marc holds a Bachelor Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts. After college, Marc briefly pursued a film career before transitioning to Marketing where he held posts helping several major brands drive online sales. After six years working for large corporations, Marc sought a less traditional role aligned with his client services, operations, and marketing experience. Paired with his enjoyment of working with animals and helping people. Today Marc Elias is the principal officer of Pooch Pals LLC, a premium pet care provider in New York City providing private pet care services and positive reinforcement training. With the help of and his Goldendoodle Riley, Marc is also an active pet therapist volunteer with the Good Dog Foundation.

I have been working with dogs for the past 6 years, in many different environments which range from in home, in stores, in shelters and kennels, doggy day cares and in dog parks conducting group classes. I’ve worked with the Humane Society of Greater Miami, The Secaucus Animal Shelter and the Florida Humane Society rehabilitating and re-homing problem dogs and last chance dogs. I have strong knowledge In K-9 behavior, learning theory, socialization, basic and advanced obedience training as well as K-9 good health and manners. With experience in exemplary customer services, running and maintaining work operations, enforcing strong communications, general labor practices and an extensive background in K-9 care I feel I would make an excellent addition to any training team.
