Jennifer's love for animals is the foundation for The Zenful K-9. She believes that all people can have a fulfilling relationship with their pets and is committed to supporting people in developing the tools and skills needed for success. Her methods focus on relationship building, life skills training and troubleshooting problem behaviors in an accessible way. When she's not training with local pet owners, she works closely with area rescues, focusing on taking dogs from the shelter system and into loving homes and helping them to stay there.

Specializing in AKC Canine Good Citizen obedience and socialization training using a balanced pawsitive reinforcement approach, Cody’s passion is building a connection between humans and their furry friends and believes there is no such thing as an “untrainable” dog/cat At AdventurePets, no pet gets left behind.

My name is Evie and I am married an have 3 teenage children. I graduated in February 2014. My company name is Charley’s Angels Dog Training. I am currently offering private lessons in Basic Obedience. I will eventually offer group lessons once I find a location to support a group sessions. I currently have 2 German Shepard’s. In summer 2014 I plan on taking my dogs through Search and Rescue. I love working with dogs and their owners and seeing the bond form with basic obedience.

Working with animals has always been a passion of mine. After finding a dog abandoned on the streets who was riddled with so much trauma translating itself into aggression through fear, I became even more motivated to learn more about how a dog thinks and reacts in certain situations. I wanted to understand how the psychology behind the action works to better help and work with these wonderful creatures as well as help the relationship between human and dog for other people as well. After taking the year long course through Animal Behavior College, I can successfully say I understand canine behavior more and how to help them fit into a human world in ways the dog will understand. I look forward to helping others resolve issues and develop a stronger bond with their canine companions.

I graduated, with honors, from Animal Behavior College with a certification in dog training. I enjoy working with dogs and their owners helping them develop a positive trusting relationship. I enjoy seeing the team work and communication that grows as a dog and it's owner learn together and progress through training. My special interest is starting puppies off right with social skill, life skill and basic training or foundation skill. With appropriate training and experiences a puppy can grow into a great companion that is a joy to be with. I have completed the Puppy Start Right program form the Karen Pryor Academy, which focuses on appropriate socialization and problem management and solving for puppies in their socialization period. Through appropriate socialization, behavior management, problem prevention and solving as well as training puppies can grow into great family companions that are a joy to have in your life. I am also deeply committed to volunteering at the local Humane Society and enjoy participating in dog play groups and, my first passion, providing foster care for puppies and moms with puppies. I am in the process of setting up my business and hope to soon have a website set up with information on programs I offer as well as costs.
