My goal as a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) is to help you develop a relationship your dog. I use a science based approach; including positive reinforcement, force free dog training, and enrichment. This approach is fun for both you and your dog and helps to lay a foundation built on trust and cooperation. I offer a personalized training plan for you and your dog or puppy at your home. I have different packages to choose from including traditional coaching packages as well as day training. I have experience working with shelter and rescue dogs. I give a 10% discount for training rescued dogs and puppies (recently adopted from a shelter, the Humane Society, or a reputable rescue organization) My areas of specialty include puppies, hyper/overly excited behaviors, as well as shy/fearful/anxious behaviors. I am a certified Dog Parkour Instructor with the IDPKA. I incorporate parkour and other enrichment as part of my training or you can sign up for parkour classes with me. I find that dog parkour helps build confidence, patience, and impulse control.

The Dog and Puppy Coach I’ve been in the pet industry for 30 yrs. I’m a certified vet tech and and a certified animal control officer as well as a certified ABC dog trainer.
