I became a certified dog trainer because working with dogs has always been a passion of mine. As a co-owner of Your K9s Come 1st in Fort Myers, I spend my days interacting with the dogs in our doggie day care and I spend my nights training owners & their dogs in my training classes. I continue to be involved in Gulf Coast Humane Society as I also conduct training classes at the shelter. As a dog trainer and breeder, I am able to share my love of dogs and my knowledge to help those who want to help their 4-legged companions become one of the family along with helping owners become more aware of how to create a friendly, fun home life for the family.

My name is Louise Hebert. I am a rescue dog lover first and a rescue dog trainer second. I believe that once a dog finds a forever home, she deserves to stay home forever. I know from first hand experience the difference professional dog training makes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship between you and your rescued dog. I am committed to using positive reinforcement techniques and setting your dog up to succeed. My passion is teaching people how to train their rescued dogs. I have been training, fostering and adopting rescued dogs for over 30 years. I offer private, virtual and group classes. Services include: Puppy Socialization classes, Basic and Advanced Obedience, Canine Good Citizenship training and evaluation, STAR Puppy classes and evaluations.

I currently volunteer for a few of our local rescues and shelters and have 7 amazing dogs of my own, which I would love to tell you about when we meet. We also offer Boarding for our current clients.
