Rachel McMichael is the owner and founder of UpSwing Canine Behavioral Services. She works primarily with shy, fearful, and behaviorally struggling dogs, focusing on meaningful behavioral change rather than basic obedience. Her goal is to help repair relationships between dogs and their people while creating safer, more functional, and harmonious households. Rachel develops individualized treatment plans for dogs and their families that prioritize communication, relationship building, and appropriate enrichment to support lasting progress. She is a dually certified canine behavior consultant (CBCC-KA and CDBC), a Catch Certified Dog Trainer and Mentor Trainer, a Family Dog Mediator, an AKC CGC Evaluator and a Certified Trick Dog Instructor. Services include behavior consultations, in-home private learning, group classes, drop off hikes, trick training, enrichment support, and more.
