Laura Anderson is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer — Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Specialist through the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals. Laura has been a dog trainer since 2011, teaching dogs & their owners in both private homes as well as in group settings. Training is individualized to the dogs’ needs, family lifestyle, and/or participants in each class. Classes may include puppy/beginners, intermediate, agility for fun, obstacles, canine conditioning, AKC fitness, AKC canine good citizen, and therapy dog training. Laura has served as an educator & administrator in a school district setting for 33 years. She brings her educational, curriculum & instructional experience to dog training. Dogs and their families experience success and have fun in classes. Laura currently has 3 German Shepherd Dogs, with titles in obedience, tricks, fitness & therapy. She shares her therapy dogs in schools, library reading programs, and veteran homes.
