Atlee Jensen
Nashua, NH
CPDT-KAAbout
At the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, we support training that is based on positive reinforcement and force free methods. Our mission is to strengthen the human animal bond, and as pet owners it is our responsibility to nurture that bond with our canine companions. We do not support or recommend punishment-based training methods, as many studies have shown animals display more stress-related behaviors and are more frequently tense. By understanding the difference, and using positive based methods, we can create a lasting and fulfilling connection with our canine companions that will enrich both our lives. Atlee Jensen (she/her) has been working with dogs since 2020. After managing an enrichment based dog walking company in Washington D.C., Atlee started her own company called Juno's Adventure Walks & Services that provided decompression walks for fearful, reactive, and over-stimulated dogs living in the city. While in D.C., Atlee also completed the Victoria Stilwell Academy Dog Training course. In 2025, Atlee moved to New Hampshire to work in the behavior department at HSFN. When she's not working with the shelter pups, Atlee spends her time hiking and playing nose work games with her two Pitbull mixes, Juno and Pari. She has a major soft spot for terriers and the bull breeds.
