About

Rachelle was born and raised in North County of San Diego. Even as a child her love of animals was always the focus of her life. After graduation she was accepted into Moorpark College's Exotic Animal Training and Management Program. In 1993 she earned her Associate of Science degree in animal training and started her over 3 decades long career working with wild and domestic animals. Rachelle offers training and behavioral consulting for a variety of challenging concerns and specializes in working with dogs with anxiety, especially reactivity, over arousal and aggression. She believes that education is life-long and continues to expand her knowledge. Alongside her degree she has her CPDT-KA and Family Dog Mediator certifications as well as being a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Rachelle loves coaching clients to improve their life and their pups. She believes that training should be enjoyable for the dog and family, and to that end, she focuses on positive, dog-friendly training techniques that focus on the dog's emotions that cause the behavior that needs changed. Rachelle knows how important it is to create a bond between dog and owner based on good communication, understanding, trust, and mutual respect.
