My name is Kara and I just moved back to Wyoming after living in Colorado for a short time. In 2010 I enrolled in ABC’s dog training course to get my certification. A short time later in 2011 about 5 years ago, I found a job as a bather and almost immediately began my grooming apprenticeship. I obtained my certification in Dog Obedience in January 2013. I finished my grooming apprenticeship in early 2015. I have worked in fast-paced veterinary hospitals and I am looking to slow down just a dog hair in order to get back to just loving what I do. I am looking for a position where I can use my education and experience to expand my knowledge and abilities in the pet care industry.

Hello! I began training my dogs a few years ago before I finally decided to pursue a career in dog training! I am married to Logan who is a member of the US Air Force and we have two cats along with my two dogs. I am currently a trainer at Petco and love every minute of it! I offer cat training outside of Petco and really enjoy getting the experience. I plan on opening my own training business in the future along with a boarding cattery. I thoroughly enjoy teaching people and their companions and helping them to achieve more harmony in their home or simply increasing their knowledge and skills!

My name is Brenda Portugal and I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer in 2008. For the past many years I have offered private, in-home problem-solving for clients and their dogs. Now that I have retired from my other full-time job as a letter carrier for the USPS, I am also including more specialized dog training, as well as dog walking for clients that either don’t have the time, or are not able to take their dog for a walk or just get them outside for a short run. I have a 2-acre enclosed arena for easy exercises or a 400-acre ranch for dogs that require a long run (only obedient dogs need to apply for this one!)

I am 23 years old and prior military. I now spend most of my time outdoors with my canine companion. Dogs are a deep rooted passion of mine and I share every ounce and experience of life that I can with my dog. My passion is not limited to myself, I enjoy sharing it with others by helping them form a bond with their canine-like I have with mine. As a trainer, I strive to not only to teach your canine the basic skills but also advanced and behavior training as well.
