We offer a variety of services that allow us to personalize a training plan for you and your dog. These services include but are not limited to: in home private training lessons, private training lessons in public places, specialized group training classes, and online courses. Our training approach is kind and serves to honor both you and your dog.

I have 17 yrs experience working with rescue dogs and common behavior problems such as separation anxiety, jumping, chewing, and potty training. I also handle severe aggression and other behavioral issues. I enjoy working with those families with children and dogs that have special needs such as blindness or deafness. Everything in classes is accomplished through positive reinforcement training and behavior modification. My ultimate goal is to solve any behavior problems you and your pet may have while making it fun and entertaining for the whole family! I also offer grooming and boarding services

Laura J. Totis is experienced helping pet dogs and their families work through behavior challenges. Through Scenting Dogs, LLC, she provides individualized behavior training for pets, working dogs, and puppies using humane, science-based methods. Laura supports dogs with concerns such as fear, anxiety, reactivity, and everyday behavior difficulties. Her work focuses on understanding the causes of behavior, improving emotional well-being, and helping caregivers apply practical strategies that fit their home and lifestyle. She offers coaching services in person and with remote support

My name is Catherine Walton and I have started training dogs in 2016. I went through the Animal Behavior College Dog Trainer Program and graduated in 2020. Along with having my certification through the ABC, I am also a Professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and have my certification for being Herm Sprenger Prong Collar Knowledge Assessed. In addition to working with some amazing trainers, I plan to always keep learning when and where I can, and plan on becoming a certified dog trainer through the IACP as well as become an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizenship evaluator by the summer of 2022. I have my own business that I started in 2021, Dragonfly Hill Kennels, and have really enjoyed working with different types of dogs and their owners the past few years. I cannot wait to continue growing my business and my knowledge as a professional dog trainer.

My name is Melody Queen and I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College where I earned my certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Post-secondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. My year long commitment to this program has provided me with a formal education in canine obedience training and understanding behavior and its motives. My certification, education and experience provide me the skills required to effectively and humanely train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog so special to you. I am a dog lover first, and a dog trainer second. I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur. I adore working with dogs and their owners, and there is nothing which satisfies me more than to see a happy dog and a happy owner!
