Lauren holds a Master's degree in Applied Animal Behavior & Welfare from Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor's of Science and an Associate's of Arts in Psychology. Her Master’s thesis examined dog activity levels and dog shelter policy. Lauren holds professional certifications, including being the first in Mississippi to be certified as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and as a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC). My name is Jamie Mothershed, I am 22 years old and just had my first baby. I have been working with dogs since I was younger, but only really started training about 3 years ago when I got my dogs Jasper and GItmo off of the street and began to work with them.
