Our goal is to help future and current puppy, and adult dog handlers better understand their dog's behavior and provide training solutions based on the most up-to-date animal behavior science. We're certified as a CPDT-KA through CCPDT since 2020 and as a UW-AAB since 2021.

Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Dog Behavior Consultant (IAABC) - CCPDT-KA and CDBC; Providing In Home Dog training, and behavior modification throughout various Maryland locations. Providing puppy socialization and trining camp, as well as private in home training addressing, puppy biting, leash walking, basic manners, crate training, separation anxiety, puppy resource guarding as well as any other puppy challenges owners are experiencing. Additionally we work with adult dogs helping the owners work on impulse control, leash walking, basic manners, leave it/ drop it, recall, crate training, housebreaking as required. We use 100% positive reinforcement dog training techniques.

Fur Pet’s Sake uses only Positive Reinforcement methods for obedience training and behavior modification techniques. I offer in-home private lessons to individuals and families. Several packages are available, and written weekly homework assignments are provided. Also, a one-time consult can be arranged to address a specific behavior issue.

Yuandi Yang ABCDT certified, Dog Walker Yuandi’s connection with dogs started at a young age. When she tried to teach her dog to follow her, she quickly realized he was frustrated and that she needed to change the way in which she communicated with her dog. Yuandi found Animal Behavior College and immediately decided to pursue her dog training education. Simultaneously, she began her dog walking career and started to apply the skills she was learning at ABC to her walking clients. Yuandi enjoys fulfilling the mental and exercise stimulations dogs need in their daily lives. It was through one of her walking clients that she met Kelly and began her ABC externship with Kelly and the 4otf training team, shadowing classes, handling dogs and further developing her skills. Yuandi is eager to apply her knowledge and skills to 4otf dog walking clients, reinforcing what they have learned through 4otf training while on their walks. She loves seeing the pups thrive both with their humans and out in the world.
