As the owner of Positive Partnership Training, I see the training process as one of teamwork-in which both the dogs & their guardians are learning & having fun. My role is to teach clients how they can motivate their dog(s) to perform & repeat the behaviors they find desirable-in the clearest & kindest ways possible.

Cary is a certified Dog Obedience Trainer and a certified Veterinary Assistant. Cary's philosophy of dog obedience training is centered on positive reinforcement techniques and incorporates treating animals with respect and love that produce companionship and obedience in response to kindness. Cary has been working with shelter dogs at Heartland Animal Shelter in Northbrook, Illinois. Cary teaches them basic obedience through commands that will initiate the dog to sit, lay down, and heel so that they will have good manners when they find their “forever” homes. Cary also enjoys reading and keeping up on the latest trends in animal behavior. She is the proud owner of Lila, a border collie/terrier mix. Cary and Lila both enjoy long walks and playing catch in the park.
