TAILS Humane Society – Position: Senior Dog Obedience Instructor – Classes Offered: Fundamentals Basic to Intermediate class. – Description: Our TAILS Fundamentals Class offeres a program directed to the knowledge that all owners and dogs learn at different paces. These classes were geared towards our shelter dogs adopted and their new owners! This class trains in a family-fun environment using methods of positive reinforcement and clicker training. We will be offering a larger variety of classes next spring! Contact us for more information on our Private in-home sessions for extra help!

I have been working with dogs since 1978. I have long been a fan of the positive reinforcement method of training. I have worked with problem dogs of all breeds. I have been a trainer of police K-9’s in areas of tracking, detection and obedience.
