What An Obedient Dog! is focused on providing positive reward-based, force-free puppy training and adult dog training methods. Both Private Dog Training and Puppy/Beginner Obedience Classes include teaching the all the basics such as sit, down, come, release, stay, leave it, take it, drop it, leash walking, heeling, fun tricks, along with puppy training, potty training, crate training, or any behavior problem including handling, barking, nipping, biting, chewing, digging, jumping, over excitement, shy dog, fearful dog, leash aggression, dog-to-dog aggression, new baby and dogs, new dogs and current dogs, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) preparation and training, therapy dog training, and service dog training. Also taught, is both the Middle School classes, which is the next level after Puppy/Beginner, or your previous basic dog training, and the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Preparation/Exam class where your dog is almost guaranteed to pass the CGC exam, that is as long as you do your homework! We also administer the CGC Exam so your dog can become an AKC Canine Good Citizen and ready for therapy work or service work, or you just want him to be your calm companion.

Other than taking care of my fur babies and training dogs privately, you’ll often see me at a local shelter assisting training classes, doing my diamond Dog volunteer, and rescue run duties.
