Dan Clark, CDBC, KPA-CTP With over a decade of hands-on experience, I specialize in behavior modification and relationship-based dog training that prioritizes compassion, science, and results. As a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) through the IAABC and a Certified Training Partner through the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA-CTP), I’m committed to using the most humane, effective, and up-to-date methods available. Like many of my clients, I’ve faced real-life challenges with my own dogs—and those experiences continue to shape my empathetic, practical approach to behavior consulting. I understand the emotional toll behavior concerns can take, and I work closely with pet parents to restore confidence, build trust, and create lasting change. My facility offers private training, behavior modification, puppy socialization, reactive dog classes, group classes, and professional development workshops. I actively attend continuing education events to stay current with the latest research and developments in behavior science and humane training, ensuring that the support I provide is grounded in both evidence and ethics. Whether you’re navigating reactivity, fear, aggression, or simply want to build a better bond with your dog, I’m here to help you live your best life together.

Dog Training

Retired military veteran and lifelong dog lover. I use a LIMA approach to training, which involves using the LEAST amount of correction required to address the behavior, and plenty of rewards! Just as people are different, no dog is the same. I assess each individual dog based on their breed, personality, and motivations to determine the best approach to training. I also work with the dog owners to customize a training plan specific to their specific needs. My style is calm but confident, loving but firm, as I consider it essential to earn both the TRUST and RESPECT of your dog. I believe dogs are our family members and should be treated with the same care. Specializing in: – Behavior Modification (barking, jumping, chewing, aggression, resource guarding, fear, leash pulling) – Rescue Dog Rehabilitation (Family integration, socialization) – Dog Park Orientation – Puppy Training (obedience, housetraining/potty training, crate training, leash walking, socialization & exposure) – Obedience Training (sit, stay, come/recall, down, off, leave it, drop, leash walking) – Dog boarding and daycare, in-home pet care
